Eunice Anita Martin was born November 5, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois. She died February 8, 2015 after an extended battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by both her parents, Jimmy and Evelyn Martin, and one brother, Reginald Walker, all from Chicago. She is survived locally by one brother, Fred E. Walker; a sister-in-law, Samella Walker; a niece, Martina Walker Tate; two great nieces; one great nephew, and a host of aunts and uncles. Surviving relatives from Chicago are June Jackson, Sherry Jackson, Sylvia Pinnock, and Cassandra Lewis. She has several surviving aunts and uncles from Samella’s family. Eunice came to live with Samella Walker here in Florida after the death of her mother in 1998 and remained here until her death. Eunice was a member of the Bell Shoals Church of Christ and attended Gary Adult High School for Special Education in Tampa. She attended the annual Jones/Huggins Family Reunion for the past 16 years.
