Ferdinando Vizzi DiLorenzo, 99, of Tampa, Florida, passed away August 6, 2015. Ferdinando was born in Ybor City, Florida on December 26, 1915. Ferdinando was a boilermaker with Local 433; he also taught welding at a Vocational School, he was master craftsman. Ferdinando was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and The Order of Sons of Italy Lodge 1251. Ferdinando always put family first. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Margaret, and many dear family members. Ferdinando is survived by his children: Diana Harville (Shorty), Dennis DiLorenzo (Robin), and Rosanne Freeman (the late Donald), grandchildren: Isabel, Jesse, Daniel, Steven, Bryan, Nicholas, Joshua, and Jordon, as well as eleven great- grandchildren. Donations can be made to St. Josephs Children Hospital, 3001 West Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Tampa, Florida, 33607 Visitation will be Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 9AM, with services to follow at 10AM both at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home (813) 689-8121.
