Giff was born in Jobs, Ohio on September 4, 1924. He was the son of Inal James and Alice Pearl Mohney. He moved to the Tampa Bay area in 1995 to enjoy his retirement years. He was an U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. Giff was a member of the North-West Tampa Church of God. He was pre-deceased by Martha, his wife of 27 years. Survivors include his daughters, Janice (Hubert), Mary Jo (Dr. Terry), Debra and Marlene (David); and a son, Brent (Jency); 13 grandchildren; and 20 great- grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m.,Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
