December 25, 1929 – August 3, 2022
On the evening of August 3rd, 2022, at the age of 92, Gloria Eloise Williams went to her Heavenly home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ. She was surrounded by family in her home as she had requested.
Eloise was born in Tampa, Fl on December 25th,1929 and had been living in Valrico since 1964. She was preceded in death by her husband James W. Williams, grand-daughter Heather McHaffie, and sister Ferdonia Bowe. Eloise leaves behind her children (two daughters) Brenda (Barry) McHaffie, Sandra (Charles) Moore, two grandchildren Amanda (Jarred) Buttram (with two great grandchildren Maci and Tori), and Ashley (Darren) Norwood (with four great grandchildren Hailey, Hunter, Hallie and Hazel Eloise.)
As an accomplished pianist, Eloise served her Lord with her abilities. Her capabilities were unbelievable, and she continued playing well into her 90’s.
A visitation for Gloria will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 10:00 a.m until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., First Baptist Church, 216 N. Parsons Avenue, Brandon, Florida 33511. Interment will be held at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gideons and/or the Plant City Pregnancy Care Center.
