SMITH, Harry Carlton, 91, of Tampa, passed away on June 6, 2016. He was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island to Carlton and Alice (Bardsley) Smith. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II and retired as an electrical engineer from The Badger Company. He is preceded in death by his companion Grace Taylor, mother of his children Helen Smith (Coyle) and his son Robert L. Smith. He is survived by his children Harry Smith (Debbie), Gary Smith, Carol Wright (Jim), Carl Smith (Stephanie), Tina Mason (David), Mark Smith (Michelle), his 10 grandchildren Justin, Stephanie, Gloria, Cameron, James, Evan, Joshua, Benjamin, Cassandra, Jacob and his sister Nancy Paul of CT. Visitation will be Friday, June 10, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at Stowers Funeral Home, 401 W. Brandon Blvd., Brandon, FL, with graveside service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Hopewell Cemetery, 6005 S. County Rd 39, Plant City, FL.
