Jack Robert Ray

RAY, Jack Robert, 73, of Valrico, FL went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 10, 2017. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brandon and a Veteran of the US Army. Jack loved golf and being a “Doggie Daddy” foster parent for the Labrador Retriever Rescue of Florida. He “Bled Red” for the Oklahoma Sooners and was a diehard fan. Jack was preceded in death by his Daughter Dawn Christina Ray, and is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Sharron Ray, his children, Brian, Blake, and Christopher Ray, his brothers, Chuck Ray, Kevin Ray, and sister, Joanne Battles, and many beloved grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to all the people of Labrador Rescue and First Baptist of Brandon that were his prayer warriors through the years. A celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 11 am with family to accept friends at 10 am at First Baptist Church of Brandon 216 N Parsons Ave, Brandon, FL 33510.
