LYNCH, James William, 81, passed away June 19, 2018. Born in Pilot Mountain, NC, he was a Mason and loved to travel in his motorhome with his wife Joanne and his various furry buddies. They visited family and friends, and enjoyed reminiscing the old days. They especially enjoyed their time with lifelong friends Grey and Eilene Boyles. Jay was a kind- hearted man, with a quick wit and a hearty laugh. He loved fishing and the tranquility of being on the water. After the passing of Joanne, he “bach’d” it with his furry companion Buckles who provided endless entertainment, friendship and affection. Many thanks to Linda Wilkinson who kept an eye on Jay in his final year. She was instrumental in getting him moving again with long bike rides and gardening. Jay, you are loved and missed by all of those you touched. We know that you are looking down on us, taking notes for your discussions with us when we are reunited. May you have fair winds and following seas. He is predeceased by his wife Joanne S Lynch, parents Tyler and Brooksie Lynch, brothers Raymond and Worth and is survived by nephew Chris Lynch, loving friends Ken and Karen Leonard, friend Linda Wilkinson and many other nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, ATTN: Development, 3607 N Armenia Ave, Tampa, FL 33607.
