James H. Schoen, 68 of Brandon, FL formerly of West Hartford, CT. passed away on August 6, 2022. James was born on December 28 to Herb and Jeanne Schoen in Hartford, Ct. Jim worked in banking at CBT and retired from banking in 1992. While working at CBT he met the love of his life Roseann and in 1984, they married and enjoyed 38 years of beautiful memories. Together they raised their daughter Kimberly and were blessed with three grandchildren Eliza, Samantha, and C.J.
Jim was a member of the Hartford Golf Club for many years and loved the New York Yankees. In addition to his wife, daughter and grandchildren he is survived by his sister Susan, husband Dr. Joe Sappington and their children, his brother Steve, Roseann’s sisters and their families, Pat and Sal Genovese, Sue and Dave Labrie, Deborah and Kevin Crandall and very special Aunt Gloria, many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear lifelong friends. He was very special and will be missed.
