Larry R. Coleman

Larry Coleman was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He was a loyal and honest friend. You only had to be around him for a few minutes and you would be rolling with laughter. Even if you were the target of his sarcasm you couldn’t help but laugh. Larry was born in Alabama but moved to Florida as a young boy where he spent the majority of his life. He joined the HCSO in 1986 and served until 1998. During his time in Florida he also owned and operated Creative Custom Cabinets for 16 years. We moved to Tennessee in 2008 where Larry once again joined the local Sheriff’s Department at which he happily served for 8 years until his illness forced him to retire in 2016.
