Larry E. Moyer

10 April, 1951 – 2 August, 2011

MOYER, Larry E., 60, of Brandon passed away August 2, 2011. He was an area resident for 30 years coming from Ft. Wayne, Ind., and was a self-employed trucker for most of his life, and the 1981 champion of the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA). He is survived by his wife, Dawn; sons, Ronald Greene, Allen Moyer, and Cory Moyer; daughter, Deby Wagers (Johnnie); brothers, Arnie Fugate (Jennifer) and Donald Moyer (Jenny); sister, Karna Heck (Joe); and two grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday, August 5, 2011 at Stowers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to LifePath Hospice. Arrangements under the direction of Stowers Funeral Home, Brandon, FL.

Dear Dawn and Family, Larry was a very special person as you well know. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Wish I could have made it down to Florida to visit with him before he became very ill. I have alot of great memories of Larry growing up and at especially in his racing days. He always could make you smile and laugh. I know he is smiling now with Grandma, Grandpa and Mom also. You take care and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Dad miss you soooooo much! They say it gets better day by day but not really seeing that. My heart aches. I know you are busy with mom (Cindy) up there now. Dawn and Cory came to be with me the day mom passed....don't know what I would have done without them. We are and always will be family. I miss both of you soooo much. I know you guys are watching out for all of us.

Honey it's not any easier today then the day you left us.I miss so much I don't no what to do with my self without you.I feel so empty and alone all of the time.Everyone you asked to help me is doing as you asked.Babe even in a group of people I still feel so alone.I love and miss you darlin. Nobody can take my memories away from me we had so many good times together you are the best husbad anyone could ever ask for.You were also the best race car driver I have ever known I no Pletcher would have some thing to say about that.YOU GO DO WHAT YOU HAVE ALWAYS TOLD ME YOU WERE going to do go race Earnhardt and win I no you will win the checked flag once again. Papa,
Today is no easier for me than the days following your passing. I miss you sooo much! We ALL miss you!! You were such an inspiration to all of us. Now when David and I watch the races on Sundays all I think about is you, and I remember when I was little laying on the floor in the living room at your house watching the race with the TV so loud it was like we were sitting in the stands and you would yell like you were really in the pits whenever something happened. Gosh all the memories I have and get to keep with me forever! Espically when we took the motor home to bike week in Daytona and ended up going all over Florida instead and you told my mom that we will be home whenever we got there if we even came back!! Papa I sure do hope you are enjoying eternity just as you did life, you sure did know how to make the best of everything! At least I know that you are there with people who love you and care about you just as much as we do here. I'm sure you won't get into to much trouble! I love you Papa always have and always will!!
