Laura was born in Bell, Florida (Gilchrist County) February 7, 1949 to Elsie Marie Adams and Louis Matthew Barwick.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray L Rice. He was her soulmate and best friend. She was also proceed in death by her brothers, Joseph, Richard, Edward; sister, Marie, grandson, Troy Kimbrough. She is survived by daughters, Michelle Rice, Marissa Rice; son, John Rice; step-daughters, Penny Mendoza, Susan Davies; grandchildren, Jenny, Angelina, Michael, Audrey, Mason, Kaden; and numerous other relatives.
She was a loving wife, sister and mother. She was loved by many and will be missed.
A celebration of life will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Stowers Funeral Home, 401 West Brandon Boulevard, Brandon, Florida. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at teh funeral home.
