He left this world peacefully, surrounded by his youngest son, Alfonso; his daughter-in-law, Zoila Rosa; and his grandson, Alfonso Jr.
Born on September 19, 1940, in Cuba, Manuel lived a life full of love, resilience, and dedication. He and his beloved wife, Marina Vazquez, were married for 64 wonderful years, sharing a bond that was an enduring testament to love and commitment. In the 1990s, Manuel and Marina bravely embarked on a new chapter, immigrating to the United States, where they built a life centered around family, hard work, and deep-rooted traditions.
Manuel was the proud father of Alfonso Vazquez Arias and Leonardo Vazquez Arias. He was a cherished grandfather to Alfonso Jr., Leonardo Jr., and Lisandra, and a doting great-grandfather to Jazmin and Juliet. His wisdom, kindness, and unwavering support touched the lives of all who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of strength, generosity, and love.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on May 17, 2025, at Hillsboro Memorial Memory Gardens, 2323 W. Brandon Blvd, Brandon, where family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate his remarkable life.
Manuel (Chucho) will be dearly missed but never forgotten. His love and lessons will live on through the generations he leaves behind.
