I was deeply saddened to hear of Marianne's passing. I remember our talks and how she lovingly spoke about her family. My prayers for Greg and family.

Susan and I were sorry we were not there to be with you with Marianne passing.  I know how much Marianne ment to you and how much joy she brought to you.  I remember the last time we were all together at the restaurant when I was in the Tampa area.  It was a good time of fellowship and we will have a time of fellowship again when we all get to heaven. I Thessalonians verse 14 "For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even sothem which also sleep in Jesus will God bring with him." v:16-17 "For the Lord himself will decend with a shout, with the voice of the archangel,and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clounds," so we will have a glad reunion day with Marianne. She is not in our past but she is in our future. Greg and family my thoughts and prayers are with you daily that each day will ease the pain that you are feeling now.

I was so very sorry to hear of Marianne's passing.  Greg, I remember how happy Marianne was when she married you and I know how proud she was to be your wife.  She was so excited when John, Michael and Patrick were each born. When we spoke on the phone, she always caught me up on family news.  She was so happy when Crystal became a member of the family and she dearly loved her granddaughters. She loved her family so very much and I know how much each of you will miss her. Marianne was always a very special friend to me.  We first met in the summer of 1965 when my family moved next door to her family on Andrews AFB, Maryland.  We became best friends quickly and her parents became like second parents to me.  Marianne and I didn't go to the same high school but we spent a lot of time together when we weren't in school. On summer evenings, we would sit on our front porch and talk or hang out with the other neighborhood kids. After her parents moved to Camp Springs and mine to Clinton, we remained close friends. One of the many special things about Marianne was her thoughtfulness.  Every year since 1965, she sent me a birthday card and a Christmas card.  Her Christmas cards always included photos of her family. When she visited the graves of her parents in the Veteran's Cemetery in Cheltenham, Maryland, she always made a point to also visit my parent's graves there. I will truly miss her.  I hope that your wonderful memories will bring you comfort and peace at this difficult time.  Please know that each of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Uncle Jim and I want to extend our condolances, love and sympathy to each one of you as celebrate Marianne's life together with family and friends.  We wish we could be with you in person.  Marianne was always such a fun-loving girl, and a devoted daughter to Peg and Ed.  We are so grateful to you, Greg, for the love you extended to her parents as well. 
I thoroughly enjoyed by visit to your home, and appreciate the excellent care that you gave her during her time of illness.  Marianne was truly an inspiration to me with her ability to handle life's ups and downs with such a positive attitude.  In the coming days, as you adjust to life without her there, I pray that the memories you have all created together over the years will bring joy to your hearts. May our Lord comfort each of you, and grant you His peace.  I know that Marianne loved you Greg, and John, and Michael, and Patrick so very much.

Dear Greg, John and family, Michael and Patrick - My family sends our love and deep sympathy to each of you at this time.  Cousin Marianne and I spent many days together as teenagers on Long Island and in Camp Springs, Md. I have many fond memories of times  "planning our futures", and sharing bags of pistachio nuts (her favorite). We both loved to dance and listen to music together.  She visited me at my home in Maryland in 1973, and we spent time together at John and Mari Archer's wedding in California in 1983. That's when I first met Greg.  And I know that Marianne was so very happy being your wife and the mother of her boys.  You have been a devoted and wonderful husband to her. You were a blessing to Aunt Peggy and Uncle Ed as well and took great care of them in their latter years.  When my daughter Apryl and I visited you in Camp Springs, Uncle Ed was still alive and we shared an all too brief afternoon together.  And, I saw you all at Uncle Ed's funeral in Maryland.  Though you and I haven't been in close contact over the years, my Mom, Mary Mc Laughlin, has kept me posted on your lives and shared greetings to and from Marianne.  I know that we will all miss her sweet spirit and shared laughter.  
May you be comforted by the Truth of Jesus' words in John 14:1-3 "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.  In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also." You are in my prayers, and I pray that you will draw close to our Lord as you remember Marianne and how much she loved each of you.

We were deeply saddened to hear that Marianne had passed from this earth, but celebrate her arrival in Heaven. Rest assured Greg that she will be looking out for you, Patrick and the family from on high. Take comfort in her love and God's blessings.

We are sorry to hear about Marianne's passing but we will remember the good days we shared with her and the family in Oslo, Norway. Our prayers are with the entire family

I feel very fortunate to have known Marrianne during my time in Norway.  She was always welcoming and kind to me.  My deepest sympathy to Greg and her sons, John, Michael and Patrick.

Your wife and mother was such an amazing women.  Marianne was the first wife I met in Norway - without her I would NEVER have survived my first duty station.
