I will be forever grateful for having had the opportunity to see and spend time with my Aunt this past February.  Although it saddens me that she is no longer here with us, I know that she is at peace and with her brothers; my Dad, and Uncle Charlie, and her beloved daughter Alice.  Aunt Marie, may you rest in eternal peace knowing that you are missed and forever loved.   

Aunt Marie, my father’s older sister, was a hard working woman her whole life. She was always strong willed and determined. Over the past four years, I was privileged to see the softer side of this woman I admired as a child. I will cherish the times we spent reminiscing and laughing as we relived family history. 
May God grant her peace and speedy admittance into heaven.

I am happy and honoured to have known "Aunt Marie".  Her tough but loving spirit lives on in all of us.   I am glad to have had a chance to spend some time with her last Sunday.  Her sparkling blue eyes and fun sense of humour were with her to the end.
