Marilyn Loretta Scialdone went to be with the Lord on December 2nd at the age of 76. Catholic by faith, Marilyn was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Sun City and former member of the Eagles Club in Orlando. A devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother, Marilyn was exceptionally fond of crafts, gardening and cooking. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Sebastian, she is survived by her loving sons Stephen, Michael (Nancy), Rick and Greg (Jen); her cherished grandchildren Matthew, Amanda, Nicholas, Sebastian, Brie and Josie, her dear brother Mickey (Carolyne) and sister-in-law Mary (Frank) and her precious niece Janice and nephews Michael and Frank and her beloved furry companion Coco. A celebration of life gathering will be held today December 4th from 4-7pm at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 W. Brandon Blvd., Brandon and a memorial mass will be held at Prince of Peace on Friday December 5th at 11 am. Donations may be made in Marilyn’s name to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund or Life Path Hospice.
