On Monday, March 14th, 2022, Marlene “Sue” Simons passed away at the age of 81. She was born in the borough of the Bronx New York, New York on January 23, 1941. Sue moved to Brandon in 1977, and embraced the Florida lifestyle. She was an animal lover and frequent contributor to the ASPCA and other charities. Her love of her many pet cats was only matched by her warmth for her sons and family. Sue loved to dance to rock and roll, had a great affinity for cinema, and was always the life of the party. Sue had a talent for creating art and her hand drawn and painted images will be cherished by her family.She joins her father Henry, mother Agnes, and sister Connie in their heavenly rewards. She is survived by her brother Ronald, her two sons, Russell and Michael, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation services will start at 11am on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2022, followed by Funeral services at noon, Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens 2323 W Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511.
