Murray Cressler

Murray passed away Friday, July 18, 2025 at the age of 104. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Cressler. Murray was born in Campbellsville, Kentucky but has made her home in the Tampa Bay Area for the last eighty years. She was a wife, mother and grandmother and worked as a nurse for all her working career. Knitting and tending to her many beautiful flowers and plants filled her free time. Murray was a faithful and involved member of the Brandon Seventh-day Adventist Church. She will be remembered for her kind and loving ways. Murray is survived by her daughter, Donna Bailey, son-in-law Frank Bailey, and son Larry Martin. Murray is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

A funeral service for Murray will be held 11 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2025 at Brandon Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1221 Victoria Street, Brandon, Florida. Interment to follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church.
