Simmons III, Noble Johnson, 61, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2010. He was born in Chattanooga, TN on September 15, 1949, grew up on Missionary Ridge, attended McCallie School, and owned DMR Trucking, Inc., a heavy haul operator
for Landstar System, Inc. Since 1991, he lived in Seffner where he recently retired. He was a helpful and involved member of local AA groups for almost twenty years. His loving support of friends and family will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank Jeff Everhart for his friendship and inspiration. Mr. Simmons was preceded in death by his father, Noble Simmons, Jr., and his aunt, Ruby Williams.
Survivors include his wife of eleven years, Brenda Simmons; daughters, Lisa Simmons and Laura Glass, husband Jeff; grandsons, Tim Simmons and Andrew Glass; stepdaughters: Stacy Blount, her husband Phillip, their children Alyssa and Teddi; and Tracy Connell and children, Justin and Jasmine Melendez; mother, Rachel Simmons; brother, Bill Simmons; and nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 12PM with visitation one hour prior Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.hillsboromemorial.com.
