Phyllis Elaine Konitzer

She was born April 24, 1947 in Nashville, TN to John Carmen Adams and Daisy Lorraine Arnold Adams. Her parents preceded her in death.

She was a graduate of Brandon High School with the Class of 1965. Several years later she graduated with special honors with a Marketing & Distribution Degree in Gautier, MS. In the year 2000, she and her husband, Gene, formed Konitzer Claims Service, Inc., a successful insurance claims adjusting corporation.

She was a member of Full Gospel Assembly Church in Spring Hill, MS.

Phyllis had a love for music and played the piano professionally for awhile and for personal enjoyment. She also loved gardening, crocheting, painting, and several other crafts.

She married Eugene Albert Konitzer on February 15, 1992. He survives her. Also surviving are sons: Richard Argo of Tampa, Fl, Russell Sweeney of Pensacola, Fl, and stepsons Brian (Melissa) Konitzer of Palmetto Fl., Kevin (Stacey) Konitzer of Daytona Beach, FL., Thomas (Jessica) Konitzer of Lakeland, FL.; daughters Ramona (William) Cuevas of McMinnville, TN., stepdaughters Kendra Konitzer of Valrico, Fl. and Kelley Messer of Waynesville, NC. She also has one sister, Rebecca (Morley) Mason of Ocean Springs, MS. and 3 brothers: Lowell (Carolyn-deceased) Adams of Carmel, IN, and Dana Adams, of Ocean Springs, MS., both who have preceded her in death, and Michael (Dorothy-deceased) Oliver of Little River, SC. Phyllis and her husband enjoyed 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
