He was a graduate of the University of Scranton and became a high school English teacher in Medina, N.Y. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, but eventually retired from the U.S. Air Force after serving in a variety of theatres. He is survived by Marilyn, his wife of 40 years; son, Glenn Reese; daughter, Jane Reaves (Chris); grandchildren, Rylie and Easton Reaves; sister, Virginia Holleran (Joseph); nieces and nephews, Marcia Newman (Rick), Judy Gorino (Henry), Anne Barrett (Brian), and Paul Holleran; great nieces and nephews and numerous friends. A Life Celebration will take place 2-4 p.m., Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Stowers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to LifePath Hospice, lifepath-hospice.org.
