CARTER, SR., Roy , 82, of Valrico entered into rest September 27, 2012. Roy retired from Anheuser-Busch after 37 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict and he was of the baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his brother, F.C. Carter and sister, Frances Salters. Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Alice; son, Roy Jr.; daughters, Linda Barber and husband, Waine, Alice Miltner and husband, Jack; grandchildren, Lane Barber, Mindy Miltner, Morgan Miltner; sisters, Joann Wilson, Edna Taylor and husband, Charles. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, October 1, 2012 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
