Shafer, Theo “Pat,” 80, of Rossville, GA (or Ruskin, FL) went home to be with the Lord on November 18, 2013. She was born in San Diego, CA, to the late Harvey and Nellie Woods. Pat graduated Clearwater Christian College at the age of 54 as Co-Salutatorian with Bachelor of Science Degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education. She is predeceased by her husband, Melvin. Pat is survived by her sons Russell Caton, Mike Caton and Richard Shafer; daughters, Susie Schmitter, Jeannie Spiller and Karen Rose; brother, Gary Woods; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home of Brandon, FL. Family will receive guests one hour prior to service.
