I met Darrell out on the water about 20 years ago. I ran out of gas and was stranded out between Tampa and St. Pete, Darrell came along and asked if I needed help. His boat was too small to tow mine so he rode to get gas and brought it back to me. He was a kind man and always willing to help a friend. We stayed in touch over the years and I will always treasure his sense of humor.

Darrell was my wonderful neighbor for over 20 years.  I remember the day he and Kim moved in. When my husband was terminally ill, we had a water pipe to break at 2:00 a.m. one night. I called Darrell. He came over immediately, located the leak, shut it off, then he went home and came back with the equipment to to clear the water off the floor.  He was a loving and caring soul. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Darrell and I worked together at U-Save in Brandon starting in 1970 where we became friends. We also were in the band together at Brandon High School, he played the baritone and I played the tuba.  He was an easy-going guy with a rather low-key sense of humor that I appreciated. Over the years we lost touch but I usually got updates on his life through his wife, brother, and sister-in-law. The last time I saw him was around 2002 when we got together to play pool in Brandon where I found out that he had his own pool table set up in his living room. No wonder he was so good. Lol. When I think of him it will be of the kindness and gentleness he exhibited.

Darrell was one of the kindest people I've ever met. He always had a smile and a friendly greeting. I will remember that about him, he was very supportive of me during my time at DDS. There is a new star in heaven because of his smile there. Rest in peace friend.

I met Darrell when working with his brother, Randy Gore, over 30 years ago; then I ended up working with Darrell at DDS lab.  We had a lot of great times together.  I will miss him very much. He was one of the nicest persons I ever met, and would do anything for anyone.  My heart goes out to his family and friends.  He will be missed by everyone.   Rest in piece, my friend.  Love you, Steven Everidge.

I just want to sadly so good-bye for now to an amazing lifelong friend & brother! We were closer than brothers! Our experiences together from childhood to adulthood will be carried in my heart for ever. We have laughed & cried together. I don't know how to say good-bye to you! You made me a better man just by knowing you & being my friend! You brought so much happiness & joy to my life even as children! We were so competitive in everything we did! We were avid bucs fans together, even when it wasn't cool to be one! The hours of useless fun & laughter we shared will last my lifetime! I can't thank-you enough for the lifetime of memories that we shared! I'm sure the good lord above will be greatly entertained with all you stories & games! I will forever miss you! 

Darrell,  you were family.  Spreading your kindness, joy and sense of humor at every  event.  You always had a smile and a story to share.  You were always there for my brother. For that, I am eternally grateful.  You will not be forgotten.  Be at peace, and save us a seat. The next match will begin very soon!

Good-bye my brother from another mother.  What a great set of memories as the boys in the neighborhood.   Morning surf, church yard football in the mud, your speed (Skeeder), camping in the woods, your incessant humor (sometimes poorly timed) that always made us laugh, good-bye old friend.  You will be missed, but always retained as a bright light in the past.   V/r  R

Darrell was a friend who always made me laugh. He was a true Bucs fan and I will miss are talks about all sports. He will be missed.

Darrell never missed a day to say; "How're ya doing Bill".  Really a kind soul soul. I'll miss you Darrell. 

What a sweet and caring man he was. Never seen angry or mad. Doesn't matter how stressful the works was,  he would always have a big smile on his face. He will be missed by everyone who was in his life. RIP

Darrell was such a kind person. One of my best memories was seeing him walk around the lab with ziplock bags full of cherry tomatoes. He actually introduced me to Janes Krazy Mixed up Salt.  He was always so sweet. We will all miss him so much.

Darrell was a great friend and coworker! He had a great sense of humor along with a heart of gold. He will be missed.


Like a Brother. Lucky to call him my friend for 20 plus years. Will miss going to Skippers and we could Always make each other laugh.  We had always talked about him retiring and getting a boat and a dog.  Will miss you. 

Goodbye my friend my brother, there are no words to express my loss for you, I feel only you my best friend could understand how I feel right now which is why my heart is so full of sadness. I will miss all of our stories that we shared with each other I will miss all our laughs together I will miss you more than even I can imagine. My friend my heart is so broken and yet so full of joy to know that one day we will be together again fishing and jet skiing in paradise when our Heavenly Father comes to take us home ,I love you Darrell.

I worked with darrell at fox dental and now at dds lab. He was a kind and funny person to work  with.we would share our skill which we learned.darrell will be missed at the lab.
  

I am really going to miss you my friend. I will always cherish the memories of working with you and especially the fishing trip with you, Jeff and Lenny. You always had a way of making everybody you know feel welcomed and appreciated.
