William Albert Shull Jr., went to be with his Lord August 30th at the age of 94. A veteran of the US Army, serving proudly from 1944 to 1946, Bill worked many years until his retirement as an inspector for the IRS. Christian by faith, Bill was an Elder at Bell Shoals church of Christ for many years. He was an avid reader who restored books and at one time had a library of over 20,000 books. Bill also edited the Hudson Family Association Journal and spent a lot of time working on genealogy. As a blood donor of over 56 times, Bill truly was a man who liked to give back. Preceded in death by his brother John, sister Cora, daughter Judy in 2002, his first wife Virginia (nee Nicholson) in 2003 and his daughter in-law Hope in 2013, William is survived by his beloved wife Margaret whom he married December 11, 2004, his loving son Donald and his cherished grandchildren Allen(Leah) and William(Allison) and great grandchildren Clara and Philip as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be today, September 2nd from 1-2pm with a prayer service beginning at 2pm and entombment immediately following at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens, 2323 W. Brandon Blvd., Brandon, Fl.
