Carol Parent

Carol was married to Richard Parent for 52 years, she was a wonderful mother to Sarah Parent (Stephen Becker), David Parent (Shannon Arthurs) and Matthew Parent (Laura Piercy). Carol was a proud grandmother to six; Noah, Emily, Thomas, Dawn, Charley and Georgia. Carol was a daughter to the late William and Veronica Edson, she is a sister to Allan, Brian and Robert (Lisa) and niece to Dorothy McAllindon. She will also be sadly missed by many other relatives and friends. Carol was born January 4th, 1950 in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Carol and Richard moved to Cambridge, Ontario in 1977 raising a loving family, which was Carol’s main focus. Carol spent time as a librarian in church, and also took care of children at the family home. We know she is at peace with God who she has a very close relationship with. The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS’ FUNERAL HOME”, 96 West St., on Sunday, June 19th, 2022 from 2-5pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the “Thorpe Suite” on Monday, June 20, 2022 at 11:30am which will be livestreamed. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Carol’s name to Stedman Community Hospice in Brantford. Memories and condolences of Carol may be shared and the link for the livestream may be found below.
