After a courageous fight and with her family by her side, it is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Dorothy Patricia on September 8, 2007 in her 88th year. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband (Arthur) and her mother, father, and sister (Peggy). Loving mother of Joanne (Bill), John (Kathy), Jeanne (Norman), Janet (James), Joyce (Ken), Judi (Al), June (Mark), Jeri (Roy), Joseph, James (Kim), Janie (James) and Jeffrey (Teresa). Grandmother of Rick, Tracy, Donald, Dawn (Michael), David (Mireille), Timothy (Cathy), Thomas (Maureen), Paul (Dawn), Michael (Melissa), Krystal (Daniel), Jesse, Jason (Michelle), Kaylon, Mark, Heather, Brian (Bernice), Bradley (Bree), Brandon (Giovanna), Brielle, Kelly, Kristin, Jenny (Scott), Julie, Jacquie, Stephanie, and Melissa. Great-Grandmother of Danielle, Casey, Alex, Brody, Dawson, Elyse, Karli, Nicholas, Kendra, Jared, Aleah, Logan, Aydenne, Braedon, Shelby, Bailie, Ryder, Jordanne, Nash, Ethan, Peyton, and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received at the “THORPE BROTHERS’ FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL”, 96 West Street, Brantford, on Monday from 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, September 12th, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. followed by interment at Mount Hope Cemetery. A Heartfelt thank-you to the nurses of SP5.
