Fedora Victoria Choc (nee Kuchocki) in her 86th year on Thursday, January 6th, 2011, who went to Heaven on daughter Lena’s birthday, with her family by her side. Loving mother of Patsy (Dean), and John (Teresa); cherished Babcie of Alanah, Evan, Mark, Jason (Brigitte), Tim, and Corinna; great-grandmother of Troy, Jade and Braeden. Predeceased by her husband Nick, infant son Teddy, daughter Lena Virtue and her husband Jim, sister Mary Martul and brother Joe. Fedora will also be sadly missed by her many other family and friends. Fedora was born in Poland and arrived in Canada at the age of 10. She was a long time member of the Polish Seniors Club. She was a kind and loving person whose loss will be felt by everyone. Never did a person come into her company without the warmest of greetings or leave her company without a big hug. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Bell Lane Retirement staff for the care they provided to mom. From the day that she arrived she was treated with the greatest love, kindness and respect by all staff and residents. The family will receive friends at the THORPE BROTHERS’ FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 96 West Street, Brantford, on Sunday from 1 to 4 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday, January 10th, 2011 at 11:00 AM followed by interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
