The family announces with sadness, the passing of our dear mother, Trudy MacLellan, 83, peacefully in her sleep at Riverview Terrace on Thursday, December 2, 2010. Predeceased by her loving husband Peter in 2002. Loving mother of Colleen Myerscough, Barb and Rick Donovan, Paul and Lesley MacLellan, Terri Broadbridge, Jennifer and Keith Deacon of Kitchener, Tim MacLellan and Lori MacLellan. Cherished grandmother of Angela and James, Kevin, Amanda, Mike and Casandra, Dave and Megan, Steve, Claire, Paula, Jim, Bethany, Travis, Carter and Rachel. Great-grandmother of Katelyn, Emily and Darien. Loving sister of Grace, Clinton and Beulah of Walkerton, Stan of Formosa, Audrey and Shirley of Toronto and Dulcie of Waterloo. Sister-in-law Anne Collins of Orleans. Predeceased by sister Doris and brothers Stewart, Eldon and Harold. The family thanks the staff at Riverview Terrace for their wonderful care of our mother. Trudy was a kind, soft-spoken lady; known for her home baking and Christmas fudge. Friends will be received at “THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL” 96 West Street, Brantford on Sunday December 5th from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 133 Murray Street, on Monday, December 6th, 2010 at 11 am. followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Paris.
