Johnson, Gladys Virginia Mary (nee Livingston). Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at the Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday July 29th 2025 at the age of 90. Loving mother of Andy, Barb (Gord), and her adorable Mikey. Cherished grandmother of David and Alicia. Treasured great-grandmother of Chloe, Dominic, Maverick, and Hudson. Dear sister of Cal, Jen, Betty, Frederick, Richard, and Robert. Predeceased by her husband John (2016) and son William (1996). Gladys will also be missed by her dear long-time friend Marion Butella. Gladys, also fondly known as “Bubbles” to many, played Brantford baseball, from 1940 to the end of the league. She enjoyed swimming, knitting, crocheting, playing the piano and organ, and was also well versed at creating marionettes. A private graveside service for the family will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Campfire Circle Rainbow Lake would be gratefully appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Thorpe Bros. Funeral Home, Brantford.
