Jack Hyson

It is with deep regret that the family announce his passing at the age of 72 on Wednesday February 3rd 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton. He leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Linda Jeavons Hyson, sons Shane and the late Janice, Ryan and Jennifer and Garth and Jill of Bowmanville. Loving grandfather to Will, Brooke, Alexandra, Hunter, Conner, Devon, Brianna, Tara and C.J. Dear brother of Shirley (Stewart) Laird of Wellesley, Noreen Garlent (Larry) of Brantford, Brother-in-law to Betty Pioveson, Carolyn Finlayson and Helen Jeavons. Jack was predeceased by his parents Ivy and William Hyson and his in-laws Fred and Emily Jeavons.

The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL” 96 West Street on Friday February 5th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Celebration of his life will be held in the chapel on Saturday February 6th at 10:00 am. Interment, Mount Hope Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Kidney Foundation, Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
