Entered into rest peacefully, after a lengthy illness of diabetes and kidney disease, on November 12, 2013, in his 62 year, surrounded by his loving family.
Devoted husband to Barbara (nee Bigelow) for 39 years.
Loving Father to Jim (Angie), Dan (Amy), Dave (Shelly), Scott (Tracy), Tom (Amy), and Bryce (Katrina).
Proud Grandfather to Faith, James, Aislinn, Shannon, Dylan, Jake, Sophie, Ireland, Emerson and Lyric.
Son of Paul Millette and Annette Martel (deceased), son-in-law of Emerald and Beverley Bigelow (deceased).
Brother, Brother-In-Law, Uncle and Friend of many.
Proud member (retired) of The Boilermakers Union, Local 128.
Family and Friends will be received at the "Thorpe Brothers' Funeral Home and Chapel", 96 West Street, Brantford, ON.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 18, 2013 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 1pm, family burial will take place at a later date.
Reception to follow at the Knights of Columbus, 12 Catherine Avenue, Brantford, ON.
To honour Jim’s love of children, donations to Ronald McDonald Children's Charities or to the Canadian Diabetes Association in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.

So I guess the shut down up there can start, cause The Lord just took one of his best foremen back. So now when ever I see lighting; I know there is some welder slacking off, and dads yelling weld faster. When I hear thunder I know something didn't fit; so dad must have said get the hammer and make it fit. So watch out we might get some pretty wicked storms, cause all the boilermakers know dad doesn't stop till the job is done. love you dad xoxoxoxo
