Carl, Jane Marion, on May 7, beloved wife of husband Donald Musson. Cherished Mum of Evan (Kristi) of Brantford and Katherine Jane (Tom) of Toronto and treasured Nana of Lilly Jane, Wesley, Brinn and Sadie, the absolute lights of Jane’s life. She will be sorely missed by her sister Julie of Toronto, her doodle dogs Betsy and Poppy and cat Millie, the latest in a string of orange cats. Jane was three years old when she immigrated to Canada with her parents from London, England, a city she visited regularly as an adult among her many treks around the world. She trained as a registered nurse at the Brantford General Hospital where she worked for many years, first on a medical/ surgical ward, then in the ICU and finally in the recovery room. She and Donald met at Long Point the weekend man walked on the moon, an event that came to be known in the family as a small step for man, a giant and happy leap for both of them. Together they had a house built at an idyllic spot in Onondaga Township where they raised their children. Jane was a stylish decorator, a world traveler, an aficionado of theatre, a passionate art collector and a diligent gardener. If you wish to make a donation, Hearts to Homes Feline Rescue and Sanctuary was close to her heart. A celebration of Jane’s life will be held at a later date.
