Josephine May McEachren (nee Doherty)

At Cama Woodlands Long Term Care, Burlington on Monday May 9, 2015 at the age of 84. Daughter of the the late Joseph and Lulu Doherty. Predeceased by her husband James T. McEachren (1987) and loving mother of Joanne and Greg Griffin of Kitchener, Patricia and Rick (Dubecki) of Burlington, Catherine and Doug Harwood of London, Jim and Lisa (Utley) of Waterford, Susan and Sam Santiago of Richmond Hill, John and Linda of Wilsonville, David and Shawn Brignolio of Toronto. Dear grandmother of Brent and Jen, Amber and Jesse, Bradley and Kim, Erin and Troy, Mark and Stephanie, Sam and Hinna, Jamieson, and Peter. Dear great-grandmother of Jordyn. Predeceased by her other siblings, Austin, Mary, Ruth, Joe, and Sister Margaret. The family would like to thank all the nurses, care workers, recreation and support staff and Reverend Bucek at Cama Woodlands for the loving care and friendship they offered Mom over the past few months and especially during the last week when they cared for her and her whole family.

The family will receive friends at the “Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home and Chapel” 96 West Street on Wednesday May 11th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Celebration of her Life will be held in the chapel on Thursday May 12th at 2:30 pm. Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery . As an expression of sympathy, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, Cama Woodlands Long Term Care or the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated.
