Josiah Giroux

It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Josiah Giroux on September 28th, 2015 at the Juravinski Hospital at the age of 38. Loving husband of Jenna (nee Collver). Beloved step-father of Zachary. Beloved son and step-son of April and Bruce Lamont. Survived by his sister Tacita (David) and their children Steven and Taylor, his brother Eric (Camille) and their son Logan and his grandfather Bruce (Lila) McLeod. Josiah will be dearly missed by his best friend Jay Luck, his parents-in-law John and Marie Collver his brothers–in-law and many other extended family and friends. Josiah was predeceased by his first wife Kim (2011), his father Michel (2005) and his grandmother Mary McLeod (2008). The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS’ FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL”, 96 West Street, on Wednesday, October 7th from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. A Memorial Service will take place in the chapel on Thursday, October 8th at 11am. Cremation has taken place. Interment Oakhill Cemetery.
