Peacefully at home on Thursday March 31st 2011 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Bernice. Loving father of Mitch and Diane, Cathy and John, Sophia and Stan, predeceased by an infant son Ted. Dear Dziadzi of Monica (David), Jennifer (David), Karen, Andrew (Tara), Daniel (Misty), Steven (Becki), Greg (Ania), Jeff (Carla) and Melissa. Proud great-grandpa of eight. He will be fondly remembered by many relatives and friends in Poland and Canada. Kaz came to Canada at the age of 42 with his young family to pursue a better life. He was a long time active member of the Polish Alliance, Branch #10 and Seniors Club. The family will receive friends at the “Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home and Chapel” 96 West Street on Sunday April 3rd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. C.W.L. Rosary and Parish Prayers at 3:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, 235 Brant Avenue on Monday April 4th 2011 at 10am. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. Joseph’s Church Renovation Fund or the Scholarship Fund would be greatly appreciated.
