My sister was a extremely loving person. She blessed everyone she met, she listened, helped, and cared for everyone. I wish I knew why God asked why he needed such a loving soul, my heart is truly broken. I defended my sister and helped her through critical times. The people who have the biggest challenges are the ones you love the most. She evolved to become a mom , wife, and aunt. She led a torch for people to follow, building a path through life's obstacles. She was a wonderful sister in law to Tuyet. Laura gave Andrew and Katrina a passion to help, and care for others showing the reasons why we are all a family of God. How Great Thou Art, though my heart is empty the kingdom of God receives a battle tested angel to receive those, that earth left behind. Memories to share, are cooking pumpkin seeds after Halloween when we were kids, and singing into a vace turned upside down to emulate a microphone when our parents were gone. My daughter Bria, and my son Luke have made a effort to care for others through their fields of work. I thank the doctors and volunteers and the countless other's whom contributed there energies and resources, whom have tried so hard through covid 19 to save the lives and make life meaningful again. Bless you all I truly am moved. I pray for those whom need support and are unable to receive it right now. Till we meet again Laura I Love you.

Sadly, I never met Laura . I came to know about her through my granddaughter Meg , and Andrew. Andrew, because he always spoke lovingly of his mom, and Meg, because she felt very welcome in their family.
I did see some tasty treats that Laura made for my daughter, to extend the hand of friendship when Meg and Andrew met. I realize now that she was quite the baker and this was something she enjoyed doing to share a kindness with another .
I wish I had stopped to introduce myself as I passed by her home on my walks. But as is often the case, it’s the things we don’t do , thinking there will be lots of opportunities to do them in the future , that we regret .
I can honestly say, that I think one of her most important legacies is reflected in her son, Andrew . He is such a kind and thoughtful and wonderful young man. I know he will continue to make her proud and to carry her memory close to his heart💗 Rest In Peace .

Poem of the Day "Epitaph"

Merrit Malloy

When I die
Give what’s left of me away
To children
And old men that wait to die.
And if you need to cry,
Cry for your brother
Walking the street beside you.
And when you need me,
Put your arms
Around anyone
And give them
What you need to give to me.

I want to leave you something,
Something better
Than words
Or sounds.

Look for me
In the people I’ve known
Or loved,
And if you cannot give me away,
At least let me live on your eyes
And not on your mind.

You can love me most
By letting
Hands touch hands,
By letting
Bodies touch bodies,
And by letting go
Of children
That need to be free.

Love doesn’t die,
People do.
So, when all that’s left of me
Is love,
Give me away.
