Leonard Albert Epp

Leonard was born on July 6, 1930, in Steinbach, Manitoba, and was the fourth child of Abraham and Anna Epp.

Predeceased by his loving wife, Justina “Martha” Epp and mother to Maris (Don) Weiss and Nathan (MaryAnn) Epp. Lovingly known as Grandpa to Ryan (Rebecca) Weiss and Lindsay (Rick) Almeida and Opa to his great grandchildren, Kirsten, Chloe, Natalie, Cabot, Maverick, Emily, and Edison. Loving brother to the late Helmut, Rudolph, Theodore, Herbert, and Werner Epp.

Leonard met his wife Martha while at Teachers College in Winnipeg and later went on to become a Minister. He retired as a Chaplain from Burtch Correctional Facility in 1995.

Faith and family were most important to Leonard. He had a wonderful sense of humour and loved a good debate! Family fondly remembers the precious family gatherings with Martha playing the piano while she and Leonard sang duets. Leonard loved to write and spent a great deal of his retirement woodworking in his shop.

Leonard will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

The family will be holding a private Celebration of Life.
