Peacefully, at the Brantford General Hospital on March 9th, 2014 in his 87th year. Dearly beloved husband of Barbara Jean (Lundy) for 67 years. Treasured father of Christopher (Cindy), Victoria Weiss (Werner) of Fonthill and Gary (Margaret). Caring grandfather to Jody, Sally, Nathan, Jordan, Jennika, Jamie and Daniel. Great grandfather to Storm, Jakob, Joseph, Isabella and Madeline. Survived by his sister Eva Priddle. Predeceased by his parents Stephen and Mabel, brother Steve and sisters Mabel Busa and Kaye Davies. Les was a Massey man for 34 years and an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer (Northridge). Family and friends will be received at the “THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL” 96 West Street, on Tuesday, March 11th from 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 133 Murray Street, on Wednesday, March 12th at 11am. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
