Lois Doris Cromwell

November 9th 1932 – October 26th 2025

Surrounded by love, our dear mother passed away peacefully at Amber Lea Place, Brantford. The Lord took her to be with her loved one Mac. She was born in Hagersville and predeceased by her parents Florence and William Hill, and siblings. She is survived by her four kids; Debbie and Don Casey, Brenda and Bob Bartlett, Debbie and Alan Cromwell, and Terri and Dave Stevenson, her grandkids; Donnie and Erin, Deanna and Todd, Charlie and Amanda, Lisa and Brad, Jessica and Brad, and Sherry and Rob. Andrew (predeceased), Amy, Chris and Emma, Ryan and Kennedy, Dan, Amber, also many great and great-great grandkids. Amber Lea has been mom’s home for the last six years. She loved it there and considered everyone her family. Mom lived a peaceful simple life. During her last final days, staff was great keeping her comfortable, and keeping her company too. With heartfelt thanks to all of the staff at Amber Lea, Bayshore staff, roomies and Elaine, Dr. Arora and the Palliative team from St. Josephs Lifecare. Mom, dad, and family were lifelong members of St. James Anglican Church, located at 28 Dublin Street, Brantford, where visitation will be held on Friday November 7th, 2025 from 1:00 until the time of the service at the church at 2:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place, with a private family interment at Mount Hope Cemetery, Brantford, at another time. If desired, donations in Memory of mom can be made to St. James Church. Arrangements entrusted to Thorpe Bros. Funeral Home, Brantford.
