Louis Hurley

Passed away peacefully on Saturday May 13, 2006 with his family by his side, in his 78th year. Loving husband of Betty (nee Willson); dear father of Marie Hurley-Street (Dane), Dennis (Cathy) of Brandon, Manitoba, Dan (Nancy), Greg, and Brenda Hurley-Miller (Robb); grandfather of Lexie and Tori Street, Michael, Christopher and Katie Hurley, Brent and Brianne Hurley, Natalie Davis, Cole and Tara Dredge. Lou is survived by his sisters in law Jeana Hurley, Shirley Robillard and Doris Knox; brothers in law Lou Kwasnik and Bill and Don Willson. He was predeceased by his parents Mary and Dennis Hurley and his siblings Gertrude Kwasnik, Anne Moore, Jerry, Jack and Bernie. Lou worked at Hussmann's for over 30 years, retiring in 1982. Lou and Betty celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in October of last year. To Dr. Im and the nurses on C7 wing of the BGH, we thank you for your care and compassion. Friends will be received by the family at the "THORPE BROTHERS' FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL", 96 West Street on Monday (today) from 7-9 pm and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, with Parish prayers to be recited at 7:30 pm Monday. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 133 Murray Street on Wednesday May 17th 2006 at 1:00 pm. Cremation to follow.
