Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital, with her family by her side, on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 in her 69th year. Margaret, beloved wife of the late Walter Harry Hockley; loving mother of Tracy (Gord), Daniel, and John Hockley, and step-mother of David Hockley; cherished grandma to 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Dorothy and her husband Charles Dearsley. Predeceased by son George Hockley and step-daughter Teresa Flack. Margaret will also be sadly missed by her best friend, Marieca Franklin, her many other family and friends as well as her beloved pets Molly and Brady. The family will receive friends as the “THORPE BROTHERS’ FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL” 96 West Street, Brantford, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, December 4th, 2010 at 1:00pm. Cremation to follow.
