Peacefully, surrounded by family, in her daughter’s home on Monday, October 19, 2015 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Keith Game. Much loved mother of David Hounam and Melanie Pizzey. Stepmother to Bryan (Janice), Kerry (Nancy) and Patti Jones (Nathan Ruff). Devoted and loving grandmother of Holly Pizzey, Heather Pizzey (Sean Arsenault), Jessica Hounam, Jody (Rob) Boughner, Ryan (Renee) Game, Joseph (Kat) Game, Kevin (Colleen) Game, Lynsey (Travis) Miedema, Paula Hounam (Rob) and Tara Bohemier (Dan). Great-grandmother to 9 great-grandchildren. Loving sister to Isobel (Ron) Kenyon. Aunt to Tom Kenyon and Cindy Wilson. Marilyn retired from the Brantford Public Library after 37 wonderful years and was a member of the First Baptist Church. She loved spending time lunching and travelling with her daughter and granddaughters. The family will receive friends at the THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 96 West Street on Thursday from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday October 23rd at 11:00 am. Interment Oakhill Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
