Marlene Gail Zarycki

Passed away peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 with family close by her side. Predeceased by her mother Helen Czach (nee Paterak). Cherished youngest sister of Laverne McCready (late Jack), Connie Carr, late Patricia Anguish (Bill), Karen Osborne (Jim), and Pamela Bauman (Harry). Loved aunt to her nieces and nephews; dear great-aunt to her great-nieces and great-nephews. Marlene will be missed by her extended family and friends. Marlene enjoyed the company of her furry friend (the neighbours cat!).

Marlene was the youngest of 6 children born in Lethbridge, Alberta.

Thank you to ambulance paramedical team for their efforts and all Brantford General and Hamilton General Hospital staff who cared for Marlene.

In Marlene's memory, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the SPCA.

As were Marlene’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private gathering will be held by family at a later date.
