Mary Pich

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 16th, 2025 at the Parkwood Mennonite Long Term Care Facility in Waterloo, Ontario in her 101st year. Predeceased by her loving husband John, brother John and sisters Pauline and Helen. Mother of Terry "Taras" (Heather) Pich and Janice (Bill) Henshall. Dear Baba of Christie Watt (Jeremy), Robert Watt and Katie Watt (Dylan). Pra-Baba to Sierra, Leo, Joseph and Adam. Mary was an active member of the Ukrainian Catholic Church of St. John the Baptist and the Ukrainian Catholic Women's League for many years and often was seen helping at Village Ukraine and preparing foods for church sales. The family wishes to thank the staff and volunteers of the Parkwood Mennonite Home LTC in Waterloo and the Wellington Park Retirement Residence in Guelph. The family will receive friends at the Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home and Chapel, 96 West Street, Brantford on Friday, September 19th, 2025 from 7 – 9 p.m. Panachyda at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will be celebrated at the Funeral Home on Saturday, September 20th, 2025 at 10 a.m. Interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Brantford. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Canada Ukraine Foundation would be appreciated.
