The family of Mary Stemmler (nee Blakeley, Williams) are saddened by her passing on November 15, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre, Brantford. Mary was predeceased by her husbands Ross C. Williams, in 1944 and Louis H. Stemmler in 1986 and her son John R. Williams in 2013. Mourning the loss of their mother are MaryLou (Paul) Herriman, David (Karan), Joan, Paul (Nancy), and her daughter-in-law Pat Williams, twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Mom’s family and church were very important to her. Mary was a long-time member of St. Mary’s Parish in Brantford. The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS’ FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL”, 96 West St., on Thursday, November 17 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 133 Murray St., on Friday, November 18 at 11am. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
