Michael Joshua Barkley

It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Michael Joshua Barkley on Saturday, July 25, 2026 after a courageous fight in hospital as the result of a motor vehicle collision on June 6, 2026. Proud father of Quinn and Max. Best friend and soulmate of Lisa. Cherished son of Marybeth and William; and devoted grandson of Mary (Herman). Dear brother of Madison and Jared. Mike had a very full life with many close friends who will miss him dearly.

Mike cared for his kids above all else, followed by his passion for motorcycles. He was the hardest working man, always providing for the ones he loved. Mike was a founding member of the Clutch Kings where he built lifelong relationships with the boys. His work family at T.F. Warren Group cared about him deeply, and Mike always enjoyed bossing them around.

Visitation will be held at Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home (96 West Street, Brantford) on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. In memory of Mike, donations to the Go Fund Me would be appreciated.

Michael will be remembered for his kind heart, his strength and love he shared with his family and friends. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that his memory will live on forever in the stories we share, the love he gave, and the lives he changed.
