After a brief illness at the Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday December 26, 2012. Predeceased by her husband Joseph and her son Joey. Loving companion of Rouland Jamieson. Loving mother of John and Julia, Ron and Cherry, Diane and Doug, Annette and Fred, Joeanne, Susan and Ron, Jim and Linda. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters and their families.
At Rita’s request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her Life will be held at the “THORPE BROTHERS’ CARRIAGE HOUSE”, 96 West Street on Friday January 4, 2013 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Camp Trillium or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
