He is survived by his wife Marg, daughters Shannon Kingsbury and Kimberly Pelich (Gary), stepchildren Robin Sweers (Ed), Matthew File (Megan Nourse) and grandchildren Jewelia (Konrad), Elita (Josh), Gabrielle, Lily, Ben, Nate, Jack, Addison, Charley and Lucy. Also survived by his mother Betty, sister Suzanne MacKeigan (Bob) and brother David. Predeceased by his son-in-law Blair Kingsbury, his father John Conway Sr, sister Ruth Hegler and brothers, John Conway Jr and Gregory Conway.
Bob retired in 2017 from Curtiss Wright Valve Group. Bob will be remembered by family and friends for his love of NASCAR and his many woodworking projects. He greatly enjoyed his many road trips with Marg and spending time with his grandchildren. Anyone who met Bob knew of his sense of humour and his ability to make a short story long.
The family will receive friends at the Thorpe Brothers’ Funeral Home, 96 West St., on Monday, August 30, 2021 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Private Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 11am, which will be livestreamed. Cremation to follow.
