We were blessed to be able to stay with Aunt Silvana on several occasions, weddings and visits. Silvana was the ultimate host, sharer of great stories, and advise-solicited or not. Very tolerant of the boys as they grew and matured the the wonderful men they are. She helped Lucy become the rock that kept us in line when she wasn’t around. We will miss her wisdom and grace. If only we could have inherited her magic baking hands. She tried to teach Connie how to bake her fabulous cookies but she never captured the gift.

We were so saddened to hear of the passing of Commara Silvana. She was my mothers best friend and they shared many great times together. My mother is heartbroken at this loss. Your mother and father were cherished family friends and my brother and I have many childhood memories spending time together and they will remain forever in our hearts.
Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time of loss and sadness
Sincerely the Mancini Family
