Thelma Ruth Hegler

Ruth.T.Hegler sadly passed away at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday November 27th 2017. Daughter of Betty and John Conway, beloved wife of Louis Hegler. She leaves behind her four children- Greg Hegler, Charlotte Beeger (Jenn), Geoff Hegler (Crystal), and Charlane Searles (Shane), Her Grandchildren- Nicholas, Crystal, Ashley, Dakota (Trevor), Jessica (Storm), Lashell (Scott), Nicole, Natasha, Brodi-Lynn, October, Shawn, and Noah, and her great-grandchildren- Latoyah, Ethan, Lukas, Malcolm, Memphis, Weston, Keegan, and Ella. A special friend to Elaine Colombo, and Bonnie Grummett. She will truly and forever be missed by her friends, and family. Ruth was an energetic, lovable, happy, special, dance loving woman who passed far too soon. She will be missed for her love she showed, her love for matching handbags with shoes, her love for dance, her passion for gardening, and much more. Many thanks to Hamilton General Hospital staff including ICU, and the stepdown unit. Also thank you to Brantford General Hospital staff for the love shown and the care provided. A gathering to celebrate Ruth’s life will be held on Saturday December 9th starting at 1:00pm at 61 Brantwood Park Road Brantford ON. A donation in Ruth’s name can be made at Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home or can be brought to the family at the celebration of life.
